Physical Fitness and Sensory Development Activities for Kindergarten
To let children adapting to the new kindergarten environment, our Children Fitness Instructors designed a set of training/ activities for children to enhance their physical fitness and sensory development. These activities include various newly designed equipment, fun & unique games and physical training in order for children to reach the target of their “Physical Quotient”. By having a physical fit body, child will have a better self-control, learning ability, and prevent from illness.
“Physical Quotient” (PQ) include: (1)Muscular endurance and Muscle strength; (2)Flexibility; (3)Cardiorespiratory; (4)Body composition; (5)Agility; (6)Coordination ; (7)Balance; (8)Speed; (9)Reaction Rate and (10) Explosive Force
Exercise and Other Extra-curriculum courses
Acknowledging from Department of Health of Hong Kong, there’ is a trend of increasing overweigh problem in local primary students. Indeed, the research report estimate that 1 child will be considered as obese in every 4 children in 2013. Obesity children will have 70% of chance becoming obesity teenager and increased risk of getting chronic disease such as Type II diabetes and cardiovascular disease. According to another research report by Hong Kong Baptist University, 60% of female students and 40% of male students are lack of physical activities. In fact, overall muscle strength is lower than international standard. Enhance every children’s health and strength is always our mission, we offer various exercise and other extra-curriculum courses for all the kindergarten and primary school. These courses include basketball, badminton, football, free-style skipping and so on. All these courses will be taught by Hong Kong registered coaches. By taking these courses, students can be beneficial by creating a regular exercise habit, building up muscles and strength, enhancing physical fitness, having more self-confidence, preventing overweight problem, and having a healthy and happy school life.
